Welcome

Join our dynamic and cutting-edge research lab as we delve into the intricate relationship between the gut and the brain in controlling energy and glucose metabolism. We are dedicated to unraveling the mysteries of obesity and diabetes through the utilization of innovative translational tools such as neurophysiology tracking, autonomic neuron manipulation, and genetic mouse models of obesity. In addition, our lab has pioneered the development of rodent models for various bariatric surgeries, including Roux-en-Y Gastric Bypass (RYGB) and Vertical Sleeve Gastrectomy (VSG), in order to uncover the underlying molecular mechanisms governing body weight and metabolism regulation. This is an exciting opportunity for scientists and trainees who are eager to make a meaningful impact in the field of metabolic research.
